Are you also a fan of the gravel cycling trend? Are you enthusiastic about longer distances and the free choice of road surface? Do you want to experience something new? We welcome you to our gravel community and look forward to your participation in the TORTOUR Gravel 200. Take part in this gravel ride and enjoy an event of a special kind. Together, we will cycle the 200-kilometre route and enjoy our passion with like-minded people.
SCHWÄGALP – the starting point
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, we start our journey early in the morning from the starting point Schwägalp and make our way back to the Zurich region on entertaining kilometers through little-known but all the more beautiful landscapes.

- Journey from the Zurich region in the Twerenbold coach. Departure at approx. 2 p.m. Bicycles will be transported in the trailer
- Arrival at Schwägalp and check-in at the hotel
- Enjoy the impressive Alpstein landscape and/or the hotel’s wellness area
- Dinner together and a cosy evening

- Early morning breakfast together
- Your luggage will be transported in the support vehicle
- Start of the various strength groups for the TORTOUR Gravel 200
- Extensive ride covering approx. 200 km/3,000 metres of elevation gain (not a race)
- Several breaks for refreshments are planned
- Arrival in the Zurich region in the early evening
Schwägalp and Säntis – places of power
Every mountain range and every rock face is the result of natural forces dating back thousands of years. Schwägalp lies in the geological force field of the Säntis massif, with Säntis as the landmark of the Alpstein. The Schwägalp pass is located on the border between the cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and St. Gallen.
