In 2026, the TORTOUR will become a new live experience: under the title ‘Live on the Edge’, this multi-day ultracycling race combines extreme sport, reality storytelling and state-of-the-art live production.
The focus is on 4–5 teams of 6 riders each, who will be accompanied around the clock by camera crews on a 500-km route. Viewers will experience not only the sporting competition, but also team dynamics, strategies, crises, emotions and comebacks up close.
With over 20 cameras, drones, on-board perspectives, live data, AI analyses and interactive features, a global live reality show on two wheels is created. TORTOUR 2026 will be broadcast worldwide on YouTube; in Switzerland, CH Media and TV24 will provide additional coverage.
The programme will be presented by Hanna Walker and Matt Stephens – supported by studio guests, former participants, ex-professionals and well-known personalities.
